Description: Get ready for Spring & Summer in the garden with Gloria Drayer, certified Yoga instructor. This 8 week yoga class is designed to get you ready to have a joyfully pain-free experience in your garden this year! We know that the bending, squatting, and pulling involved in planting and maintaining a garden can put serious strain on our backs and hips. This class teaches poses to open the hips to increase flexibility and also how to warm up the spine to help support the rest of the body while we're working. The class will provide you with a short set of poses to practice each day before you go out into the garden. Simple, easy and fun! Develop great habits in the garden that your body will thank you for- this season and for many to come. Join us for "Yoga for Gardeners."

Description: This 8 week series is a holistic approach to healing designed for those who are going through the process of grief. This series will consist of a gentle yoga practice that encompasses postures that support the body and spirit during times of loss. Additionally the class will include journaling, sharing circles and breath work. Please bring: a yoga mat, a blanket, a journal, an open heart.

Course Name: Yoga For Weight Loss                      Course Number: 06520

Description: Losing weight has a lot of components. The principals of yoga can re-shape our minds along with our bodies-change how we see, and how we treat, our bodies.In this practice, the yoga poses support the body in weight loss and, as the practice continues, the mind attitudes about the body. As anyone who has ever worked at losing weight before knows, the effort is as much in the mind as it is in the body. Gloria Drayer will lead you through yoga poses to help strengthen the body as it moves through the poses.The class also teaches the techniques of mindful eating and mediation to encourage love of he body and mind.
