Free In-Person or Zoom Yoga Class

As a new yoga participant with Gloria you are invited to join either a Gentle or Mixed-Level* in-person or Zoom class for free. Gloria offers weekly yoga classes for all levels and is especially gifted in working with those aged 50-90. There’s nothing to lose by coming to a free class and everything to gain! *Class Descriptions

  • Gentle/Beginner Yoga This class is great for those who are new to yoga or want a more relaxing practice. Even experienced practitioners benefit from reviewing basics in an easeful setting. Yogic breathing techniques and relaxation will conclude each class.
  • Mixed Level Class Designed to accommodate everyone’s needs. Those of you looking to challenge your current practice are invited to hold the pose longer or go deeper into the postures. Those of you seeking a more gentle approach are encouraged to release the pose earlier. Throughout the class, Gloria will be there to assist and support your needs, whatever they may be.

Gloria is known for the intuition, empathy and compassion she brings with her role as a certified yoga instructor. She focuses her students on the present moment and encourages them to accept themselves as they are. Everyone is encouraged to work at their own comfort level and make the progress they can in a non-competitive environment.

About Gloria

Gloria also offers local yoga retreats and workshops covering many areas, including specialty workshops on important life altering topics such as grief and weight loss, are held throughout the year. Gloria also leads small, intimate groups on international yoga adventures annually. Teaching yoga since 1995, she challenges her students to gently go to their edge – breath by breath. She has lived and taught at Kripalu, the country’s largest yoga and holistic health center located in Massachusetts, and currently holds a 500-hour certification with Kripalu and Yoga Alliance. She’s studied the Sri Krishnamacharya tradition in India, and her teacher in New Mexico in this tradition is Sonia Nelson. Gloria is the author of Yoga and Grief: A Compassionate Journey Toward Healing. She is also a certified Shiatsu practitioner.
